Carried out internal environment analysis on a Malaysian retail chain. Researched and provided report on tangible resources of that retail chain such as financial, physical and human resources. Also did research on intangible resources such as the reputation and goodwill of that retail chain and how this affects its business operations. It was identified that the retail chain is lacking in terms of technology and innovation and therefore, certain recommendations were provided.

 

Furthermore, capabilities in terms of inbound logistics, operations, outbound logistics and sales and marketing were identified and later compared with its competitors in order to come up with certain solutions to increase business and take market share.
